This project is about testing the unique ideas behind the history of the collective women’s documentary project, how women can further contribute to documentary photographic culture and how ideas, critique, and modes of practice can follow on in the footsteps of our predecessors. Using my own practice on abortion as well as trialling a woman’s photographic forum, I will attempt to show how the history of women’s collectives can be revitalized for current practitioner
